Happy Easter

WOW! What a busy week we have had. We got out and about everyday this week except for one day when we had storms. It felt very nice to get out and go shopping and have a play date. My little boy is two months old today on Easter. We are so blessed with this precious little man. I took Colin to work this week to see the girls. So I decided to weigh him, he weighs 10 lbs and 15 ounces. He is sleeping 6-7 hours at night at least 3-4 night a week, which is great. He is still having some stomach issues and when his stomach hurts the entire house and neighborhood seem to know. Hopefully it will work its self out in the next week or so.
Last Sunday I took Colin to see the Easter bunny at my mom's work. He did has he usually does and slept through the entire outing.

This week is not going to slow down at all. We close on our new house on Thursday and leave for South Florida. We are going to see one of my best friends get married and I can not wait to see Nicole and Dominic get married. Then we are off to the other side of Florida to see Peter's Grandmother then back to Huntsville to work on our new house. Hopefully, I will be able to update this blog often but we seem to be super busy the month of May and then my time as a stay at home mom will end and I must return back to work. A House Finally

Well Friday we got the best news in a long time. The bank finally accepted our offer for the house that we have been waiting to hear on. We are to close on April 28th! Fingers are crossed that is going to be a busy weekend for us. We close that Thursday if all goes planned and then it is off to Florida to see one of my best friends get married on Saturday and then we are coming back to start the process of moving. Oh did I mention that is one month from the time I go back to work. Talk about a lot being pushed into the month of May. Did not except my first mother's day to be probably filled with cleaning and moving things. So we had a pretty good weekend it was nice and warm here and we got out to a few stores and did a couple of things. We celebrated Grandpa's birthday and Colin seemed to be a happy baby that day.
What a busy Monday we had. It started with my follow up Dr.appt, then we meet up with Julie, Ethan, Owen and Julie's mom. We went to multiple stores, Colin did awesome, he was very happy to be out of the house I do believe. Well we had called the Dr. for Colin that morning because he has been very unhappy after feedings and has had some vomiting. The Dr. saw him yesterday afternoon and wanted to do an ultrasound of his stomach to make sure that everything was okay. It all turned out okay we are just to watch him and hope he gets better real soon.
Today has been a rough day. Nothing seems to be making him happy. He has only sleep about 2 hours since 8 am this morning. I am hoping that he will have a better day tomorrow. This weekend we are going to Me`Me work to an Easter Egg Hunt and pictures with the Easter bunny. Will post pictures later.

Getting Out

This past week we have been a little busy. Unlce Kyle was coming down last weekend to surprise us for a visit however, with the airlines he did not make the trip and had to turn around and go back to Boston. We were a little disappointed. We were able to get out of the house for our first trip just Colin and I. We decided to go over to Julie's to hang out with her and the boys for the day. It only took us 4 hours to get out of the house. We made it over to her house and hung out for a few hours it was great to get out and about.

We got a call on Tuesday that Unlce Kyle was going to come this weekend, we were super excited. Kyle got in Thursday night pretty late however we were up so we went to the airport with my dad to pick up Kyle. Friday night we finally took Colin out for dinner, he was awesome, slept thru the entire dinner. I finally got like 6 hours of sleep in a row on Friday night. Peter sent me to bed and took care of Colin untile around 5 am that morning and I heard him crying so I told Peter to go to bed that I can take care of him.

Sunday we went on our first trip to Wal-Mart once again my little man slept thru the entire trip and rode in his carseat great. I hope he can do it on our long trip to Florida later this month and then Texas next month. We are going to be busy from now until I go back to work at the end of May. Every weekend it seems we have something going on or someone coming to visit. I can't wait to see how it goes but man before I know it I will be going back to work.
